For the first time, the 364th ESC coordinated and conducted a Wreaths Across America ceremony in Marysville, Wash. The unit’s public affairs officer and survivor outreach services specialist began coordinating the community outreach and wreath-laying ceremony in May, which coincides with the national ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., Dec. 12. The ceremony, held at the Marysville cemetery in Washington, brought together several community service organizations, local businesses, military service members and the general public in an effort to honor the life and selfless service of all fallen veterans. The local cemetery has interred more than 200 veterans from conflicts ranging from the U.S. Civil War and our conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. "The freedoms we enjoy today have not come without a price," said Master Sgt. Mark Fogh, narrator and member of the 364th ESC. "Lying here before us, and in cemeteries across the nation, are men and women who gave their lives so that we can live in freedom and without fear." Fogh has served 23 years in the Army and currently handles funeral services for the 364th ESC.
