151223-N-XF387-077 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 23, 2015) - Sailors, attached to the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) deck department, touch up the paint on the anchor chain on a floating barge during preservation operations. Blue Ridge is currently moored at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka undergoing a Selected Restricted Availability maintenance period, which will allow the ship to undertake future patrols, ensuring the safety and security of Pacific sea lanes.
