Marines from Marine Wing Support Squadron 171 take chemical samples during Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response training at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Dec. 18, 2015. The Marines attended a 40-hour course that taught them how to respond in the case of an emergency and how to operate safely around hazardous materials, waste, substances, and fuels.
