At sea. (Dec. 15, 2015) - A U.S Marine with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is treated by Navy corpsmen conducting a simulated casualty evacuation as part of an ongoing amphibious assault during certification exercise (CERTEX), at sea, Dec. 15, 2015. CERTEX is the final evaluation of the 13th MEU prior to deployment and is intended to certify their readiness to conduct missions across the full spectrum of military operations.
