Capt. Joshua Gorczynski Apache Troop Commander of 1st Squadron “Tiger,” 3d Cavalry Regiment gives a mission brief Dec. 12, 2015, in the Fort Hood training area. Apache Troop moved into a village the next morning to extract U.S. citizens and capture an enemy key leader. The mission was part of a two-week long field exercise for the 3d Cav. Regt. to prepare for an upcoming rotation to the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, Calif.
