As part of their force protection responsibilities, the Marines stand post security, man entry-control points, conduct patrols throughout the camp, and when needed, provide a quick reaction force to respond to an emergency or crisis. The efforts of SPMAGTF-CR-CC Marines contribute to supporting Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve by enabling Iraqi and coalition training and operations.
