Funkhouser, the commanding general of the Center for Initial Military Training, addresses attendees of the U.S. Army and New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony at the FDNY Training Academy on Randall's Island Dec. 8. The MOU, signed by Funkhouser and FDNY Chief James Leonard, chief of department, formalizes an agreement for the two organizations to share information on training, equipment and lessons learned.
