The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Color Guard posts the colors to mark the start of the U.S. Army and FDNY Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony at the FDNY Training Academy on Randall's Island, Dec. 8. The MOU, signed by Maj. Gen. Anthony C. Funkhouser, commanding general of the Center for Initial Military Training, and FDNY Chief James Leonard, chief of department, formalizes an agreement for the two organizations to share information on training, equipment and lessons learned.
