U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, gives fresh fruit to a local child here Dec. 5, 2015, as part of Operations Santa Claus. Volunteers and military members from approximately 30 groups and organizations came together to bring holiday cheer to the community of St. Mary's, Alaska. This year marks the 59th year of the program, which serves to bring Christmas to underserved, remote communities across Alaska each year. The volunteers were also joined by Alaska Gov.
