Col. Arthur Kandarian, brigade commander, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), and Command Sgt. Maj. Scott Schroeder, the brigade command sergeant major, bringing a ceremonial wreath that honors the fallen Soldiers of Arrow Airlines flight 1285 at the Gander Memorial Service, Dec. 12. The Soldiers whom died in the crash 24-years ago were returning home from a peacekeeping mission in Sinai, Egypt. Their mission was vital to the stabilization of that war torn region.
