Col. Arthur Kandarian, brigade commander, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), and Command Sgt. Maj. Scott Schroeder, the brigade command sergeant major, salute the memorial in recognition of the fallen Soldiers after laying a wreath at the Gander Memorial Service, Dec. 12. The Soldiers whom died in the crash 24-years ago were returning home from a peacekeeping mission in Sinai, Egypt. Their mission was vital to the stabilization of that war torn region.
