1-32 CAV utilizes video games for training

A team leader and intelligence anaylist with 1st Squadron, 32nd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) conduct a notional key-leader engagement with Scott Rosenburger, Virtual Battlespace System 3 training facility team leader, during an intelligence gathering training event Feb. 12. The system is comparable to a video game that allows Soldiers to conduct patrols in environments similar to deployment locations, but differs in that a group of civilians and Soldiers work behind the scenes to provide injects and face-to-face engagements.
