151123-N-IT566-153 GULF OF ADEN (Nov. 22, 2015) Sailors assigned to Expeditionary Resuscitative Surgical System (ERSS) Team 15 and Sailors assigned to amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) conduct a medical exam on a patient during medical training while aboard the Arlington is in the 5th Fleet area of operations. ERSS Team 15 is forward deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to provide a tailored, mission-specific medical capability, close to the point of injury that supports the range of military operations afloat and ashore.
