VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Nov. 22, 2015) The Red Rippers of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 11, the first of three squadrons returning to Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana, arrives to a homecoming celebration in their hangar. The 1,600 men and women and 67 aircraft of Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1 returned home on Saturday and Sunday following an around the world deployment as part of the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group (TRCSG).
