    Senior Master Sgt. William Reed, III, 349th Maintenance Squadron, is honored by friends and family in a retirement ceremony at the Aerospace Ground Equipment Flight facility, Travis Air Force Base, Calif., Nov. 21, 2015. The presiding officer was Lt. Col. Daniel Counts, commander, 349th MXS. Sergeant Reed joined the Regular Army in 1982 and transferred to the Air Force in 1986, where he spent the remainder of his career working in the aerospace ground equipment career field. In 2009, he to deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The sergeant is a native San Franciscan and lifelong San Francisco 49ers fan. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lt. Col.
