Freeman, Jr., the adjutant general of the Mississippi National Guard, stands before a Mine-Resistant, Ambush-Protected gun truck during a Nov. 26, visit with the Soldiers of 2nd Battalion, 198th Combined Arms, out of Senatobia, Miss., the unit that oversees the Contingency Operating Location Q-West's Base Defense Operations Center, the Mayor Cell basic life support operations, and fields three convoy security companies. The adjutant general and the command sergeant major of the Mississippi National Guard visited Mississippians serving throughout Iraq, stopping several hours at Q-West.
