Trinidad, from Long Beach, Calif., reads messages from the People’s Liberation Army Navy Jiangkai II class guided-missile frigate Xuzhou (FFG 530) during a Code for Unplanned Encounters at Sea (CUES) and a search-and-rescue (SAR) exercise aboard forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63).
