TANDUO BEACH, Malaysia (Nov. 12, 2015) U.S. Marine Cpl. Daniel Bates, left, and Cpl. Greg Tucker stand watch at a security check point during Malaysia-United States Amphibious Exercise 2015. Bates and Tucker are military policemen with Law Enforcement Detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. During MALUS AMPHEX 15, Marines and Malaysian soldiers exchanged law enforcement tactics and learned how each other operate in a combat environment. The purpose of the exercise was to strengthen military cooperation in the planning and execution of amphibious operations between Malaysian armed forces and U.S. Marines. The 15th MEU is currently deployed in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to promote regional stability and security in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
