TANDUO BEACH, Malaysia (Nov. 12, 2015) U.S. Marine Cpl. Forrest Walker and a Malaysian soldier compete in a push up competition during Malaysia-United States Amphibious Exercise 2015. Walker is a team leader with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. During the integration, Marines and soldiers learned about each other’s culture, country, military service, exchanged personal gifts, and ended with a barbeque. The purpose of the exercise was to strengthen military cooperation in the planning and execution of amphibious operations between Malaysian armed forces and U.S. Marines. The 15th MEU is currently deployed in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to promote regional stability and security in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
