U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Kenneth Seamans, a platoon leader with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division (LI), demonstrates how to react to direct enemy contact during a class for Iraqi Security Force officers at the Baghdad Fighting School in Taji, Iraq, Nov. 1, 2015. This class is an example of the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity (BPC) mission. The Iraqi Security Force curriculum at the BPC training sites includes leadership, ethics and law of war training and instruction. Additionally, the recruits are taught land navigation, basic medical training, infantry skills and small unit tactics.
