Four special tanks designed to handle the specific chemicals recovered from the Lake Erie Barge Argo surround a vapor containment tank aboard one of two work barges being used to remove product from the Argo, Nov. 18, 2015. The Unified Command, consisting of the U.S. Coast Guard and the Ohio EPA, continue to ensure that safety of the responders and the public of Lake Erie’s surrounding shores is their highest priority.
