151118-N-KW492-182 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Nov. 18, 2015) An MH-60S Seahawk delivers cargo from the Military Sealift Command USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE 3) to the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) during a vertical replenishment (VERTREP). Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
