Air Mobility Command leadership and civic leaders pose with 22nd and 931st Maintenance Group Airmen next to a KC-135 Stratotanker, Nov. 17, 2015, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. Each civic leader was paired with an Airman who showed them first-hand what goes into maintaining a 60-year-old aircraft. The event was part of a three-day AMC civic leader tour of McConnell in which attendees learned about the base’s current mission with the KC-135s and the future home of the KC-46 Pegasus.
