Families and friends await the dismissal of their new Marines from India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, before liberty call at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Nov. 5. This is the first time Marines have seen their families and friends since arriving at the depot 13 weeks ago. Today, all males recruited from west of the Mississippi are trained at MCRD San Diego. The depot is responsible for training more than 16,000 recruits annually. India Company is scheduled to graduate Nov. 6.
