151109-N-ZZ999-001 PEARL HARBOR (Nov. 9, 2015) - Builder 2nd Class Joe Hophan and Utilitiesman 2nd Class Eric Martin, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, ensure that fiberglass protective jackets are properly installed on piles, and ready for bracing support. UCT 2’s Construction Dive Detachment Charlie (CDDC) is conducting pier repair on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam to help prolong Third Fleet assets. CDDC is on the fourth stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
