McMillian, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, greets veterans at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans during a Veterans Day Ceremony, Nov. 11, 2015. Service members and civilians took part in the ceremony to remember those who fought in battles past, and to recognize those who are fighting today. Each year on Veterans Day, the WWII Museum opens its doors to all veterans to explore the rich history of the past warriors who served in WWII.
