U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Nov. 10, 2015) - U.S. Marine Sgt. Joshua L. Aguirre, a platoon sergeant with the communications detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion 26, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), directs a ceremony in celebration of the Marine Corps 240th birthday while embarked aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24), in the Red Sea, Nov. 10, 2015. The Marine Corps was established by the Continental Congress on Nov. 10, 1775.
