151103-N-MM501-008 NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (Nov. 3, 2015) Electronics Technician 1st Class Rudolf Fernandez, assigned to Commander, Task Group 56.1, and Information Systems Technician 1st Class Shawn Gregg, Commander, Task Force (CTF) 56, put together a satellite as part of continuity-of-operations exercise (COOPEX), which is designed to establish communications in a remote location. CTF 56 commands the expeditionary combat forces in the region including explosive ordnance disposal, mobile dive and salvage, naval coastal warfare, Seabees, expeditionary support logistics support forces, and coastal riverine forces.
