Lt. Gen. Benjamin Dolofino, commander of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Western Mindanao Command, congratulates U.S. Army Maj. Tyler Wilson after presenting him with a Philippine Military Merit Medal. For the past nine months, Wilson has served as the Civil Military Operations chief for Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines. During his nine month tour, his company from the 97th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne) at Fort Bragg, N.C., assisted the AFP in turning over 41 schools, local government buildings, wells, roads and other projects.
