Staff Sgt. Jared Cowart, a joint tactical air controller from the the 25th Air Support Operations Squadron, surveys the target area to identify landmarks that will assist in air to ground targeting operations during a field training exercise on Bellows Air Force Station, Hawaii, Oct. 21, 2015. During the three day FTX, Airmen and Soldiers trained together to sharpen their specific skill sets. The Airmen from the 25th ASOS focused on their ability to communicate with the Army ground commanders to call in air support from a variety of air to ground assets.
