GULF OF ADEN (Oct. 17, 2015) U.S Marine Lance Cpl Giovanni Carrera, right, spars with Cpl. Shawn Obrien during the combat conditioning portion of a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program black belt course aboard the USS Rushmore (LSD 47). Obrien is an amphibious assault vehicle crew chief and Carrera is an AAV crewman, both with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th MEU.
