151103-N-CJ186-943 ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 3, 2015) An AH-64D Apache helicopters, assigned to U.S. Army Charlie Troop Heavy Cav, fly together during a bi-lateral training exercise in the Arabian Gulf. The combined-joint exercise provided U.S. forces, which also included U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy, an opportunity to exchange tactics and best practices with Kuwait naval forces. CTG 56.7 conducts maritime security operations to ensure freedom of movement for strategic shipping and naval vessels operating in the inshore and coastal areas of the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
