151103-N-CJ186-285 ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 3, 2015) Kuwait Naval Forces Ship (P 2713) participates in a bi-lateral exercise with Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.7’s Riverine Command Boats (RCB) 802 and 805 in the Arabian Gulf. The combined-joint exercise provided U.S. naval forces, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Army, an opportunity to exchange tactics and best practices with Kuwait naval forces. CTG 56.7 conducts maritime security operations to ensure freedom of movement for strategic shipping and naval vessels operating in the inshore and coastal areas of the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
