Deegan, recounts a peice of his personal history with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Nov. 6, 2015, during a ceremony honoring members of the regiment who gave their lives during the Vietnam War.
