151104-N-UL721-247 BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Brunei (Nov. 04, 2015) A member of the Royal Brunei Navy practices a visit, board, search and seizure drill aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82) during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Brunei 2015. CARAT is a series of annual, bilateral maritime exercises between the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor-Leste.
