151103-N-XN177-010 YOKOSUKA, Japan (November 03, 2015) - Master-at-Arms 3rd Class Kelsey Carlton, from Clearwater, Fla. leads military working dog (MWD) Donci out of her van onboard Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka. The canines with the MWD unit are used to apprehend suspects and to detect explosives and narcotics while searching buildings, ships and submarines at FLEACT. FLEACT provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 83 tenant commands, and 24,000 military and civilian personnel.
