Christine Sanders practices baton techniques after being sprayed with oleoresin capsicum during a non-lethal weapons course aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Sanders is a water support technician with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
