Capt. Stephen Hubatsek, 51st Medical Operations Squadron clinical nurse, simulates giving a patient blood during the Vigilant Ace 16 exercise on Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Nov. 3, 2015. The exercise is an annual peninsula-wide combined operation between U.S. forces and ROK allies to enhance operational and tactical level coordination through combined and joint combat training. The MDOS Airmen are utilizing the exercise to hone vital skills in the event of real-world contingencies by actively role-playing with patients who have simulated injuries.
