The U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree, a 74 inch lutz spruce, arrives in Hangar 4 on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 31, 2015. JBER is one of the many stops for the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree on its way to Washington D.C. The tree will be lit by the Speaker of the House on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, during a ceremony on the Capitol’s West Front beginning at 5 p.m. The tree will then be lit from nightfall until 11 p.m. each evening through Jan. 1, 2016.
