Lani Czyzewski shows a picture on her phone of her and her father, a World War II veteran, after she was presented her father’s military bracelet that was lost for 16 years prior, Oct. 22, 2015, Museum of Aviation, Robins Air Force Base, Ga. Mark Byrd, 78th Civil Engineering Group Energy Office supervisor, found the bracelet in a parking lot at Lake Travis Country Club in Austin, Texas. Sixteen years later, after much research, the bracelet finally made it home to Czyzewski due to the efforts of Mark, his wife Eileen Byrd, 116th Air Control Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, Airman and Family Readiness program manager, and Tech.
