POLARIS POINT, Guam (Oct. 27, 2015) Capt. Drew St. John, left, commanding officer of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), greets Rear Adm. John Nowell, commander of Expeditionary Strike Group 7, on the pier prior to a ship tour, Oct. 27. Nowell visited Frank Cable to meet with Sailors and learn about the ship's repair and maintenance capabilities offered to the fleet. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
