151027-N-GZ228-009 PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 27, 2015) Aviation Electrician’s Mate 2nd Class Jeffrey Beckenbach (right), and Aircrew Survival Equipmentman 2nd Class Joseph Willis, both attached to the “Wildcards” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23, conduct maintenance checks on the main rotor of a MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter in the hangar bay of amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), composed of Boxer, amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18), dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) to test their ability to effectively respond to scenario driven events and perform as an integrated unit in preparation for deployment.
