PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct.. 22, 2015) A MV-22 Osprey approaches the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18). New Orleans is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), composed of USS New Orleans, amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise to test their ability to effectively respond to scenario driven events and perform as integrated units in preparation for deployment.
