151020-N-VS214-002 PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 20, 2015) Yeoman 3rd Class Ebony Shuford photographs a surface contact off of the port side of dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) during a training exercise for the ships Ship’s Nautical or Otherwise Photographic Interpretation and Examination (SNOOPIE) team. Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), composed of amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18), Harpers Ferry and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) to test their ability to effectively respond to scenario driven events and perform as an integrated unit in preparation for deployment.
