NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. (Oct. 20, 2015) – Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) Airman Miguel Cordero, a native of Yauco, Puerto Rico, (left) and Airman Frederick Houston, a native of Braselton, Ga., (right) tighten the fall protection nets around the flight deck on board the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is currently undergoing a planned incremental availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility where the ship will receive scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
