    U.S. Navy

151018-N-MK881-684 BAY OF BENGAL (Oct. 18, 2015) Gunner’s Mate 1st Class Christopher Steele, assigned to Surface Warfare Mission Package, Detachment 4, currently embarked aboard the littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3), handles the phone and distance line during a replenishment at sea from USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE-6) as part of Exercise Malabar. Currently on a 16-month rotational deployment in support of the Indo-Asia-Pacific Rebalance, Fort Worth is a fast and agile warship tailor-made to patrol the region’s littorals and work hull-to-hull with partner navies, providing 7th Fleet with the flexible capabilities it needs now and in the future.
