This exercise focuses on providing improved infrastructure to the local community through tasks such as vertical construction, wood frame construction, repairs to existing structures, providing utilities support, wiring a structure for electricity, and installing plumbing. Akutsku, from Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, is a heavy equipment operator with the Japanese contingent for this exercise. Masters, from Hinkley, Illinois, is a builder with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3, 1st Naval Construction Group.
