151019-N-MZ309-004 SAN DIEGO (Oct. 19, 2015) Amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) departs Naval Base San Diego to begin Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX), Oct. 19. Boxer will be joined by amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18), dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) and 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit to test their ability to effectively react to real-world scenarios and preform as an integrated unite before an upcoming deployment.
