ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 4, 2015) A Kuwait Naval Forces sailor finds simulated contraband aboard KNS Al Saadi (P 3723) while conducting visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS) tactics training during Exercise Goalkeeper 2015. Exercise Goalkeeper is a VBSS oriented training comprised of a combined maritime force ready to support a regional response to environmental and humanitarian crises in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. The U.S. 5th Fleet compliments the counterterrorism activities of regional navies and coast guards through exercises, training, and coordinated operations.
