An Australian soldier assigned to Task Group Taji shows an Iraqi soldier assigned to 1st Battalion, 71st Iraqi Army Brigade how to properly clear his weapon during a preliminary marksmanship instruction class at Camp Taji, Iraq, Oct. 5, 2015. The Iraqi soldiers were in the beginning stages of learning how to safely handle and operate an M16 rifle. Task Group Taji will hold a nine-week course in which they will teach the soldiers of the Iraqi army how to shoot, move tactically and communicate with each other in order to be successful in the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant.
